Sam Pettipher shortlisted for RBS Entrepreneur of the year awards
Sam Pettipher, co-founder of EBar Initiatives has been shortlisted for two RBS GB Entrepreneur of the year awards (Start-up Entrepreneur of the year & #GoDo Entrepreneur of the year).
“Being invited to the shortlist from over 1000 entrants is quite humbling” says Sam Pettipher, “particularly as we have only just started our business and intend on entering the market and creating substantial ripples in the near future”. The Edinburgh shortlist comprises of an excellent array of talented entrepreneurs and is available from the Great British Entrepreneur Awards website.
In deciding to shortlist Sam the judges stated the following comments
“Sam Pettipher is co-Founder of EBar Initiatives Ltd, an Aberdeen-based company developing a rapid beverage dispensing device. A unique and innovative start-up, Ebar is enabling events operators to meet high drinks demands in a way that avoids traditional capital investment in infrastructure.”
“Sam has an enviable growth mind-set and possesses huge drive and ambition. Finding a new way of doing things to alleviate a problem he’d encountered, Sam is disrupting a market in which he previously had no knowledge or expertise, acting on a vision of how he felt the industry should be.”
Awards for the respective categories will be made at a prestigious gala final on the 21st November 2017. However, as such a young start-up we are so proud to have even been nominated at this stage.
